Accommodation in East Cork Midleton
Cork writer, Mary Leland, in her book At Home in Ireland, describes her stay at Barnabrow by stating that:
‘At Barnabrow Country House the beds are not just made. They are constructed. My own is like a galleon in full sail, its muslin curtains sweeping from the ceiling, its pillows and cushions billowing behind my head.’
Each bedroom at Barnabrow Country House in East Cork is unique and individually designed – each plan was determined by the space available in the five grand rooms of the Manor House or in the nooks of the old workers’ cottages or in the stables that make up the seventeen bedrooms of the Courtyard.
We do not serve evening meals however there are a number and a variety of restaurants close by. Many find us convenient for dining at Ballymaloe House.
