Winter Wedding- Food To Share
Barnabrow is indeed a unique and magical setting and many of the couples that visit are looking for something different for their wedding – we spend quite a lot of time trying to come up with new great ideas to help make your special day uniquely yours.
One of our more successful efforts has been our Food to Share Menu offerings. These are wonderful anti-pasti platters that are passed around the table family style. Very different and very enjoyable.
In keeping with the informal tradition of sharing food our staff do not put the bowls and platters on the table, instead they hand them to the guests who then need pass and share between other guests. Suddenly there is a new buzz of conversation in the room and a whole lot of passing back and forth, which changes the vibe as guests interact. This is a fantastic ay for guests to interact and get the conversation flowing.
These dishes are mostly salad based which is wonderful in Summer full of fresh flavours but not so great in Winter as we crave the more comforting food so couples are opting to marry – often inspired by our very attractive Winter Wedding package. So we put the thinking caps again and Head –Chef Stuart Bowes has developed a whole new range of Winter Food to Share Menu options.
It fits the bill of something ‘different’. Guests are somewhat tantalised by it – it creates a frisson. They are mystified by what is happening around them. Old and young alike enjoy it.
